So with holidays over i met prof Egan for a second time and same as before he sent me home for review in 3 months. I knew I was getting close to that list. I was determined as well as stubborn. Every second cough produced more blood. I had oxygen in my house. I would wake at 5 in the morning and put on a second litre of feed 2000 calories while sleeping. This was a stage where I looked after myself and truth be known not because I wanted to but because i could’nt physically move my body. I was a wreck so on the 3rd meeting I laid all my concerns on the table for Egan. He looked at the notes and seen my dramatic decline. He knew and i knew that it was time to progress so with that i was giving the choice of the mater or Newcastle. I was in 2 minds but with some research i chose Newcastle due to there experience. I was set to meet Jim lordon and Lyn holt to get the ball rolling. I was told that I was on an inactive list until i pass all the criteria. Vaccination review and the gauge one 4kg of weight. When i met Lynn and Jim i was nervous these people where going to decide my fate. This was February 2010 and i was booked for assessment in march.
