To most people, projects are gruelling intense hours of study. I have devised a way to make myself happy and help people enjoy life along the way. Over the next 6 months I plan to embark on a course that will make me the weight I want to be while also getting awareness to another level. This will aquire the help of every one of you guys. It’s not going to be easy but anything is possible. I honestly from the bottom of my heart never had hope for this site from when I started but I fully believe I have caught peoples attention to the difficulties CF people and what others with illness embark on from day to day. I said to Martina last week that we would get good news in the CF community in the next couple of weeks and that came last week with another guy that has fought to be where he is now, on a transplant list. The power of attraction people, keep positive and positivity will follow you. Every step is closer to the dream. The dream of a fresh start. Belief is key and I told a good friend of mine yesterday that you will never meet a more happy or determined person than a person with Cystic Fibrosis. They always have a different outlook and let’s face the harsh fact here. It doesn’t work for every person. I have been to more young people’s funerals than is natural. It really upsets every bone In my body but so be life and it’s cruelty.
My end goal in the next 6 months is to finish a Spartan Race in Rome, Italy on the 26th of April with a crew of what I believe will be 600+ people. I would hope a good chunk of these people will be my Girlfriend Rosie, Martina, maybe Anthony who might be nappy deep, Enda, Kieran, Vinnie. I know the two pauls, McHugh and kenna are in and the two james’s, Kean and phelan. Along with Audrey and Charlotte and all the important people that have helped me be where I am today. It will be a dream to complete such a course and I don’t see why not. The best thing about this is. It’s all to do with organ donation and awareness. No pressure on money raising as I feel at this point people are sick of it. It’s going to give us all inspiration to become something different. Take our minds off little things and focus on the positive. The influential and positive Pat Divilly asked me if it could be possible to get over 10,000 organ donor cards out there and I honestly thought all the people I know have organ donor cards but I then thought he is talking on a bigger scale. Dream big, believe and you will succeed. In between all that we have kind people locally like keans arro who will run there Christmas night in aid of CF on the 25th of November and the big dance which will solely be for organ donation awareness on the 27th of December in Claremorris under lights. Times are exciting and life is good. Let’s just hope it stays this way. Now get training and join us in Rome for something that will change your perspective on life. One final point that I would love everybody to consider. When you make a decision in life, stick to it as you will never get the chance again. Live life to the extent you dream of. You only get one go, have no regrets and when your time comes don’t be greedy, have that donor card signed and pass life on so someone else can enjoy what life has to offer.
