Because i was on a transplant list I had a few things to do.
1 – Always have your phone. Now I always do but 1 night in Galway I left my phone on taxi seat after me iphone 4 at the time rang carra cabs who said I didn’t leave no phone but only for i seen it on the seat when he pulled off. I rang Martina to tell her and she looked after that.
2 – Get vaccinations. No problem I love needles. In fact I could be totally wrong but I tend to find a lot of CF S with tattoos or piercings and from interest i looked it up and you can get a oppression with pain.
3 – Pack a bag you could be called anytime. I didn’t really grasp this like us all i thought you are on a list and me thinking I was on the bottom no it goes by your blood type. In my life I had 4 blood transfusions so i have a rare blood type. That was sorted too.
4 – Keep out of hospital as you can’t go from one hospital to another especially a transplant and cancer hospital due to cross infection.
So that was my list. Now being a typical 23 year old i thought it could be a long time and talking to people that had it done you can be called a number of times and sent home. But I continued to look after myself as I knew this was my only chance of survival.
